Fall Break: Part 2

We were going to go up to Payson for some cooler weather and to try to find some fall foliage, but it turned out to be 85 degrees up there. Even though it would have been cooler we didn't think the leaves would be changing, so we decided to wait until later in the month to make that trip.

Since we still wanted to do something, we hopped in the car and went to the Phoenix Zoo. It was pretty warm outside, but it was fun to see all of the animals. Andie had a lot of fun looking at all the animals and all the children running around!

We rode the train first to try to cool off a little bit.

There were koalas there on loan from the San Diego Zoo. They were pretty cute!

We had a fun time at the zoo! I think the highlight of Brian's week off was going to Cracker's and Co. restaurant and ordering their Southwest Burger. He said it was amazing! The week was great and now we are back to our regular schedule. I am busy trying to get ready for the holidays. I made Andie's Halloween costume this year which will be our next post. Stay tuned...
