Cake Class

A little over a month ago Kristen (my SIL) asked me if I wanted to take a cake decorating class with her. I said yes of course and here is what we made tonight at our last class.



I didn't know who I would be giving the cake to, so I just put Happy Spring. The class was a lot of fun and I learned new techniques using icing. The flowers are the hardest to make obviously!



The instructor said if there are enough people who want to learn how to decorate with fondant she will do a class. I hope that will work out! Here is the side of the cake. I piped all the swirls using little dots.



It took awhile and I was kind of hurried at the end, but all in all I think the cake turned out pretty well.
